Hi, I’m Özge Ağsaran.

You don’t have to navigate life’s complexities alone. I provide a grounded space to help you understand your mind and regain your balance.

Who I am

Professional Background & Philosophy

Academic Excellence & International Perspective

My journey in psychology began at Middle East Technical University (METU), where I graduated as a High Honor student. To further broaden my clinical perspective, I moved to the Netherlands to pursue my Master’s degree at Webster Leiden Campus. This international experience allows me to understand the unique challenges faced by individuals in diverse, multicultural environments—especially students and expats navigating life away from home.

A Holistic and Integrative Approach

I believe that the human mind is more complex to be confined to a single theory. Therefore, I adopt an integrative (eclectic) approach, tailoring every session to the specific needs of my clients. By blending evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with the depth of Psychodynamic insights and Motivational Interviewing, I create a personalized roadmap for your healing and growth.

Continuous Growth & Professional Ethics

To ensure the highest quality of care, I continuously refine my skills through specialized training in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Psycho-oncology. My practice is built on a foundation of strict ethical standards and professional supervision. I offer my services through a secure online platform, making professional psychological support accessible in both English and Turkish.

Who I Support

I specialize in working with adults and young adults on a wide range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety & Stress: Finding your inner calm and grounding yourself when life feels overwhelming.

  • Depression & Mood Difficulties: Navigating periods of emotional heaviness and gently finding your way back to the light.

  • Identity & Personality Exploration: Understanding your deeply rooted patterns and making peace with your authentic self.

  • Relationships & Communication: Healing relational wounds and learning to express your boundaries and needs with confidence.

  • Body Image & Self-Worth: Cultivating self-compassion and rebuilding a loving relationship with yourself.

  • Psycho-oncology Support: Holding a safe, supportive space for the profound emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis.
